Are You Ready For a New 888poker Experience? Check Out the Awesome New Features
888poker has launched its new PC tables, creating an online poker experience like ever before. After months of gathering feedback from its players and ambassadors, 888poker is revamping its software, bringing a fresh and feature-rich set of tables for players to enjoy.
The new PC tables were soft-launched last week but are now available to everyone playing at 888poker's dotcom site. Have you tried them yet? If not, download 888poker via PokerNews and see what all the fuss is about.
All-New Environments and Tables
The new backgrounds and environments are one of the first things you notice when playing on 888poker. There are several new background that change depending on the tournament or format you are playing. For example, play in a mystery bounty tournament at 888poker and reach its final table, and the background changes to look like you are at an event, complete with adoring fans watching on from the sidelines!
It isn't only mystery bounty final tables that look great because every other table type has been revamped. SNAP tables look sharper and the new BLAST tables are superb, complete with electricity running around the table's perimeter. Jump into a PKO tournament and you are transported into what can only be described as a boxing ring as you battle with opponents to knock them out and claim their bounty.
Bigger Avatars, Emojis, and Throwables
Small avatars were a common complaint on the old 888poker tables, but that's no longer the case. 888poker's PC tables featured larger avatars, making it easier to see which opponents are active in the hand, something that is worth its weight in gold if you play multiple tables simultaneously.
Although poker is about winning chips and money, you should be also having fun, which is why 888poker has created a new set of emojis that allow you to describe how you are feeling at the touch of a button. Similarly, a new range of throwables can be selected and slung at your opponents if you have just won a hand from them or they've put a bad beat on you, or if you just fancy flinging a poop emoji across the new-look tables!
Awesome Sneak Peak Feature Gives MTT Players All of the Info
888poker will be the first to admit that tournament information wasn't the easiest to find when playing with the old tables. Players had to open the lobby of their current tournament to find information. The new sneak peek feature means there is no more taking your eyes off the action because hovering your mouse over the basic info in the top-left corner of your table opens up a plethora of info and statistics.
You'll instantly be able to see the total prize pool, what the next available prize is, and the sum the champion will take home. In addition, you'll discover blind level and time remaining, remaining players, the largest, average, and smallest stack, and more.
Mystery bounty players are in for a treat because clicking the "MB" button in the top-left of their table opens up a tab with all the relevant mystery bounty information, including which bounties are waiting to be won. That information is important to a mystery bounty player's decision-making, so adding it is a nice step forward for 888poker.
